Dampness Dispelling and Calming Tea

Benefits: Removes dampness, reduces swelling due to water retention, calms mind and promotes better sleep(insufficient or poor quality sleep can led to weight gain)

  • Huang qi      10g
  • Fu ling          10g
  • Gou teng      10g
  • Water            1 liter
  1. Rinse ingredients to remove any debris.
  2. Place in a glass/earthern or ceramic pot.
  3. Add water and soak for about 45 minutes.
  4. Bring to a boil. Reduce to low heat and simmer gently and covered for about 30 minutes. 
  5. Remove from heat and allow to steep for another 10 minutes.
  6. Divide into 3 to 4 servings and drink throughout the day.

Ginger Cinnamon Tea

Benefits: Detoxifying, relieves distention, improves digestion, reduces blood sugar, suitable for weight gain due to high percentage of body fats and triglycerides and high sugar level. Not suitable for people with heaty constitution. 

  • Fresh ginger          30g
  • Cinnamon stick     2 sticks
  • Water                       1 liter
  1. Rinse ingredients to remove any debris. Slice ginger. Smash lightly. 
  2. Place all ingredients in a glass/earthern or ceramic pot.
  3. Add water and soak for about 45 minutes.
  4. Bring to a boil. Reduce to low heat and simmer gently and covered for about 30 minutes. 
  5. Remove from heat and allow it to steep for another 10 minutes.
  6. Divide into 3 to 4 servings and drink throughout the day.
